Chili Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breast
- ½ tsp thyme
- ½ cup red wine
- 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- ground black pepper to taste
- salt to taste
- ½ kg cooked whole wheat pasta
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- ¼ cup coriander, chopped
Instructions
- Cut chicken into half an inch stripes.
- Add to chicken spices, wine, soy, vinegar' lime and chili.
- Mix ingredients well and place in fridge for an hour.
- Partly prepare pasta as manufacturer's instructions.
- Cut the onion to stripes, add to a pan with oil and cook till soft.
- Add chicken without liquids and fry until prepared from all sides
- Add the liquids and pasta and cook for additional 3-4 minutes
- Add coriander.
