Delicious Italian Chicken with Tomato Sauce – A chef’s recipe
Ingredients
- 6 large skinless boneless chicken breasts halves
- 8-10 fresh sage leaves
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
For the Tomato Sauce:
- 1 can (28oz.) of crushed tomatoes
- 12 cut-to-halves cherry tomatoes
- 3 clove minced garlic
- 10 fresh basil leaves
- salt and pepper to taste
- red crushed chili
Instructions
- Brush the chicken with olive oil, season with salt and pepper on all sides. Attach 1 or 2 sage leaves to each chicken breast.
- Fry the chicken breasts 2-3 minutes (depends on the thickneseach side until golden and put aside.
- Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Place the chicken and cover with sauce in a baking pan. Put in a pre-heated oven at 180C / 350F for 10-15 minutes.
