Chili Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken breast
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ cup red wine
  • 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • ½ kg cooked whole wheat pasta
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • ¼ cup coriander, chopped

Instructions

  • Cut chicken into half an inch stripes.
  • Add to chicken spices, wine, soy, vinegar' lime and chili.
  • Mix ingredients well and place in fridge for an hour.
  • Partly prepare pasta as manufacturer's instructions.
  • Cut the onion to stripes, add to a pan with oil and cook till soft.
  • Add chicken without liquids and fry until prepared from all sides
  • Add the liquids and pasta and cook for additional 3-4 minutes
  • Add coriander.
