Spicy Tilapia

- 1 kg tilapia
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 red bell peppers
- ½ tsp spicy green pepper
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp harissa
- 4 cloves sliced garlic
- 1 tbsp chicken stock powder
- 2 cups water
- ½ lemon juice
- 5 springs chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp chopped mint
- salt to taste
- ½ sliced lemon
Soak the tilapia in water and add lemon juice, for half an hour.
Take out the tilapia and cover with a bit of salt, turmeric and oregano.
Add to a large skillet the olive oil and the bell peppers and fry till soft.
Chop the spicy green pepper into rings and add to the pan.
Add the paprika, hot sauce, garlic and 2 cups of water and bring to a boil
Add the chicken broth and condense the liquids a bit (around 5 minutes).
Add the tilapia to the pan and cook with a cover for 20 minutes on low flames.
Prior to finish, add the mint and cilantro.
Serve with the lemon slices.
